You see it is not so much the actual peel, but the majority of a vegetables nutrients are found directly beneath the skin. If you use a traditional peeler then you do not get any nutrients because you end up slicing have the fruit or vegetable away. Well not with the EZ Peel Gloves. So I had to rush out and get my dad a pair even if it was just for laughs.

They are so neat, all you do is put them on, rub your fruits or vegetables with them, and poof the skins are gone. Except they only rub the skin away, not a half inch of the potatoe, so all the nutrients are left where they belong. Plus youdo not have to worry about slicing your finger, or grating your hands. I love them, and who knew that peeling your fruits and vegetables could be this EZ? So go and grab yourself a pair, and bask in all the nutrients that you will still have in your food.

So this is a different product that many of you have probably seen on tv recently. I have done a bit of research on what people think of it and if it actually works, and I was shocked to hear that it indeed produces amazing tomatoes. It is called the Topsy Turvy tomato planter, and it is all based on the idea of turning your tomato plant upside down so that you do not lose your tomatoes to bugs, bacteria, frost, or soil damage.

If you think about it, the theory is perfect. Gravity works against most plants in that when you water them, the water must be pulled up from the root to reach the fruit. However, with the Topsy Turvy Tomato Planter, gravity is on your side. The water gets into the root system, and it trickles down to the fruit easily. They boast that you should be able to get thirty pounds worth of fruit off of one plant. Not to mention you can have fresh tomatoes all year long, since they are not left on the ground, and the ground will freeze.

So now you can make all the sauces and soups you want, all year long. You will have plenty of tomatoes to give away. You can also grow other types of fruit and veggies in your Topsy Turvy planter. Like zucchini, eggplant, cucumber, and more.

So far, I have heard that a few people have had amazing results with these planters, but I am interested to hear from everyone. I am going to get one for this summer, and give it a try, and if it works I know my dad will want one too.
