I love to cook, I find it relaxing, and I get to include my own artistic flare to it. I am no chef, so I do not know all the tricks of the trade. I also cheat a bit. I love finding pieces of kitchen equipment that make my life easier, whether it is a peeler, a slicer, a chopper, or in this case a cutting board.

Yes I know you are probably wondering how can a cutting board make cooking easier, well I am about to show you how. You see this is not just any average cutting board. It is amazing in that it has a special area cut out of it so that you can easily slide whatever it is you are cutting onto a plate, or even into a bowl.

We have all been there. You are busy cutting away, and in the end you have this huge pile of stuff so you try to slide it into a bowl, and half of it ends up landing on the floor. Not anymore with the new Transfer Cutting Board. The shape of it will never allow your hard work to go to the floor.

Basically, it looks like a regular cutting board, however, it is raised, and has a half circle cut out on the side. that way you can just put your plate or bowl underneath it, and slide your stuff right on to a plate or your cooking pot. This will make my life so much easier, and yours too I am sure.

This is a really great innovation for an old problem that we face everyday while cooking. I thought I would share to those of you that could find a use for it in their kitchen. Perhaps, all you chefs out there will want to grab one of these too.

So I am a sucker for gardening, I just love it. I find it so relaxing. I am always on the look out for neat new things to stick out in my garden so that I am the envy of all of my neighbors. I found this new cool product that I had to tell you all about, so you can give it a try. They are called FirePots, and they are so beautiful.

FirePots are made out of hand crafted ceramics and are artisan glazed. This makes them a very beautiful compliment to any area in your yard. You can even have them in doors but I prefer them in my garden. I have a couple on my patio, and everyone compliments me on them. However, I am thinking of even lining my walkway with them.

So all you have to do is pick a few colors that you love, and that will go with your garden or house decor. Since they are all hand made they are all different, so find a few that really spark your interest.

You must also consider what sizes you want. They range form quite small to large, so make sure you look at the dimensions to see what size you are getting. Since they are on fire, you want to make sure they are in safe spots around your yard. Do not put them anywhere to close to high traffic areas in your yard, or anywhere near the seating.

You wil also ned to figure out if you will be using your FirePots inside or outside, or both. This will impact where you put them, and the sizes and colors you will choose. it will also impact whether you will need regular gel, or citronella gel, to rid your area of mosquitoes and other pests.

The flammable gel is what will keep your pot burning for hours and hours. You can order it with your pots, or even buy it at most home and garden stores. So there you have it. FirePots are an amazing accent to any home or garden, so grab a couple today. They are beautiful, and sell for around $30-$40. Have fun with them.
